Premier’s Double Celebration: Two shortlisted entries in the PFM Awards

20 July 2017

Premier Workplace Services has been shortlisted for not one, but two awards in the 2017 PFM Awards. The PFM Awards is a prestigious annual event which recognises the work of FM service providers across the public and private sectors. The awards are highly respected and are a highlight of the FM calendar.

Upon receiving notification that Premier was shortlisted in the category of Partners in Relocation, there was much celebration. Premier’s work with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) and their FM contract integrators KBR was recognised by the awards judges for the collaborative contract covering the extensive estate rationalisation process and closure of the iconic New Scotland Yard building.

Working with KBR and MPS since 2014, Premier has provided relocation services, storage and furniture reuse services, delivering sustainability and cost-effectiveness whilst ensuring minimal impact on the MPS’ day-to-day work. This has been a substantial contract for Premier, carried out with success and positive feedback from both MPS and KBR.

Whilst the good news was still sinking in, a second notification arrived, with the announcement that Premier had been shortlisted for the award Partners in SME Organisations. Premier’s entry for this category focused on the contract with Tesco to support the clients’ nationwide removals, refurbishment, and sustainable furniture requirements, in addition to the recent major project of consolidating the estate’s sites in Hertfordshire. Premier’s contract with Tesco has spanned 20 years and the relationship between the large corporation and SME Premier has developed and strengthened over these years to form a dynamic partnership delivering cost-effective and sustainable workplace change.

Dave Russinger, Director at Premier Workplace Services commented: “We were absolutely thrilled when the news regarding the Partners in Relocation award arrived, as the MPS and KBR collaboration was such a success. When we found out shortly afterwards that we’d been shortlisted for the Partners in SME Organisations as well, we were doubly delighted. The team is honoured to have received such recognition and Premier’s representatives are very much looking forward to attending this high-profile event later in the year.”
