Items for storage are packed using appropriate materials to maintain their condition and are then stored within 250 cu ft containers in our secure facilities. For added security, containers are not marked with client names but are tracked electronically by their unique reference code.
Racked storage provides the best method of storage for over-sized items such as meeting tables and sofa. Each item is protected using the appropriate wrapping materials before being palletised and then placed on the racking system.
Digital inventory and online asset management
As items come into Premier stores, they are photographed and a full digital inventory is created capturing details including item name, colour, condition. Clients are then given a secure web based login, with differing levels of authorisation, from which they can then remotely view and order out their assets on a next day delivery basis.
Historic and environmental controlled storage
Premier can support clients with very specific or very special storage requirements. We operate secure, environmentally controlled storage areas with controlled lighting, temperature and humidity to protect specialist and historic items.
We recognise that storage is a short term solution for clients and if not managed proactively, storage costs can escalate. We can provide a reporting service for clients to help identify items that are not being utilised and perhaps need to be dis-posed of. We can quote for the repair or refurbishment of items to encourage their reuse or alternatively sustainably clear out redundant assets from storage using our sustainable clearance approach to deliver best economic and environmental outcomes.
